Why this page exists
Search for Bonus Crab tips and you get confident advice. Most of it has no source. Below are seven claims, each with what we can back up and what we honestly don't know.
1. "There's a trick that makes the claw hold"
What we can show is narrow. ELA Games, the provider of Cash Crab, describes that game as a claw machine the player controls remotely over a video stream (CasinoBeats interview, 2 July 2024). So in Cash Crab you steer the claw and choose the moment. What we don't know: how firmly the claw grips, and whether that is the same on every grab. No source we found says.
2. "Use both camera views and the laser pointer"
This tip is everywhere. None of our casino records mentions camera views or a pointer, and we took the same advice off our own pages for that reason. It may be true at your casino. We can't confirm it.
3. "Reload the page for a better layout"
We found no source for it, and no way to check it. Treat it as a rumour.
4. "It's all a random number generator anyway"
The opposite myth. For Cash Crab, ELA Games talks about video streaming and remote control, not about a random draw — but the interview doesn't say how a grab is decided either. Both camps claim more than anyone has published.
5. "Real-money prizes are free of wagering"
What we can show: bonus money and free spins from the claw fall under the casino's wagering terms, and a maximum bet applies while a bonus is active — €100 at 31 of the 42 casinos we refer players to and €5 at 10; Sportuna Casino sets both, €100 in general and €5 on bonus money (more in the maximum bet guide). For real-money prizes we have recorded no condition at any casino. That is a gap in our data, not a promise.
6. "€10 unlocks the claw everywhere"
At 21 of 42 casinos the terms name €10. The rest name another amount or none. Check the bonus terms first.
7. "Claw slots are practice for the Bonus Crab"
They aren't. Games like the ones on our demo page are slot machines with a claw theme: no steering, and a payout rate set by the provider. Playing them teaches you nothing about the live claw.
And the arcade?
Arcade claw machines are a different case. Sellers of these machines openly explain that the operator sets the grip strength and how often a full-strength grab occurs (ClawMachines.com operator guide, checked 2 October 2026). Whether anything similar applies to the online machines, we don't know.
What's left
The parts you can actually check are in the terms: deposit amount, wagering, maximum bet. How to Play the Bonus Crab covers the steps, How to Win the Bonus Crab the general advice, and our casino reviews carry the terms.
